PetStar serves 1.200 collection points throughout the country and benefits more than 24,000 PET collectors. PetStar designed the PetStar´s Inclusive Collection Model (PICM), which propitiates social mobility and promotes the recognition and dignifying of scavengers through inclusion initiatives contributing to the recycling inclusive in Mexico.

In PetStar, 100% of the bottles are recovered through our own units, which are certified under the Clean Transport Program.

PetStar is an example of a Circular Economy that defines the commitment of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry to the environment. Currently its customers and shareholders integrate up to 100% of recycled content in its packaging as the bottle CIEL Azul, which is manufactured with a 100% recycled resin food grade PetStar.

How does recycled resin become a new container?

We recycle 3,100 million bottles annually

How can a bottle become a new bottle? Know the process.

100% of the bottles we process, are collected with our own collect infrastructure, which we will recycle efficiently, timely and efficiently for the manufacture of recycled PET resin food grade.
