At PetStar we reaffirmed our commitment to sustainability at the II University Forum on Circular Economy in Colima.

On April 15 and 16, 2024, the University of Colima was the epicenter of the II University Forum on Circular Economy, an event that brought together leading experts, academics and entrepreneurs committed to promoting sustainable practices in Mexico.

Among the participants was our shareholder Embotelladora de Colima, part of the Mexican Coca Cola Industry, where they emphasized that sustainability is the heart of the circular economy, recognizing that universities are vital for long-term growth, as they are generators of change and awareness in society.

Likewise, our ally ECOCE, who participated with lectures and information spaces with very valuable tools for the young people of Colima.

During the forum, PetStar had the honor of setting up an informative space where we exemplified more of the circular economy, as well as showing the youth our recycled food grade PET resin .

Our team had the opportunity to interact with students, academics and professionals interested in learning more about our innovative solutions to the environmental challenges we face today.

In addition, we also had the privilege of offering keynote lectures and workshops where we shared our experience and knowledge in the field of recycling and circular economy .

These conferences provided attendees with an invaluable platform for the exchange of ideas and collaboration on behalf of the environment, as well as the generation of debate, actions, programs and new business models that generate impact on the planet.

We are honored to have been part of this important event and would like to express our gratitude to the University of Colima and Embotelladora de Colima for giving us this unique opportunity to contribute to the dialogue on sustainability and environmental care in the Colima region.

We remain committed to our mission of environmental preservation and sustainability for the benefit of future generations.
